Ladies and Gentlemen,

We the Macedonians demand your country to stop using the preliminary reference former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Our country's name is Republic of Macedonia. Please respect that, just as well as we respect the name of your country Australia.

We the Macedonians believe that this decision is not only unjust for the Macedonian people but defies universal rights and principles.

The reference under which the Republic of Macedonia was admitted to the UN is only for use within the UN, as per resolution 817. The preliminary reference which was included in the UN constitutes a reference, not a name!

We the Macedonians ask that fundamental human rights and principles also apply to us. We ask that you please end the injustice and discrimination against us and recognize our country by the name Republic of Macedonia .

Over 130 countries worldwide, including the USA , Canada , Brazil , India , China , Japan , Russia, Turkey … have already acknowledged our country under the name Republic of Macedonia!
